Bringing local wellbeing services to your community
The need to look after our own physical and mental wellbeing is well known and vitally important in the busy world we live in. However, the services and treatments we know we need or would like are some distance away and for those who rely on public transport, often inaccessible – until now.

Goathland Wellbeing, led by a group of local practitioners, launched on Monday June 5th in the Community Hub (aka The Hut) Goathland.
Focused on making a range of wellbeing services accessible locally, you can book body treatments, such as reflexology, a range of massages and reiki in newly adapted treatment rooms; whilst other health provisions, such as ear and feet appointments can be arranged in the Hut or in the comfort of your own home.
Goathland Wellbeing also brings together health and fitness activities, including yoga, qigong & tai chi and pilates.
There is specific support for new mums, with access to local, private midwives and courses for baby massage.
Reflecting a full range of wellbeing provision, you may also want to tap into your creative side, initially by joining the new Art Club with other activities to follow.
The Hut, which benefits from solar generation along with a range of other carbon footprint reduction measures is already home to the local library (open Wednesdays 10am to 4pm), is a designated Warm Space, easily accessible and benefits from ample free parking.
